A coming of age novel with voices that alternate between Peter, a clumsy boy with confidence issues, and Pax, a spritely fox who’s goal in life is to protect “his boy.” Human and animal growth are equally explored through loss, friendship, and the occasional fox yip. Get your tissues ready, ya’ll, this one’s heartbreakingly gorgeous.
